Responsibilities: Put your years of experience into a future of excellence! The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman’s team to support the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Passenger Systems Program Directorate (PSPD) suite of computer and automated software applications. CBP PSPD supports a broad range of complex business systems which are instrumental to the CBP mission of securing our borders while facilitating legitimate trade and travel. This position requires a highly motivated, self-reliant team player. Develop applications – in a Unix/Linux and Windows VM environment to ensure performance and data availability – using full stack java. Apply required updates and patches, monitor and tune system to achieve optimum performance levels, and provide reports to support metrics collection. Support the Agile process using SCRUM methodology and Jira. Some local travel to customer sites may be required. This position will be located in Lorton, VA or Springfield, VA. No Telework. HOURS: 5/40 workweek

Requirements: US Citizen. Must have an active or able to obtain a DHS/CBP (Customs and Border Protection) security clearance. This is done on the client’s side. This position will be located in Lorton, VA or Springfield, VA. No Telework. 5 Years relevant experience with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD. This hands-on require hands on technical skills, with prior experience developing using one or more of the following technologies: Java / J2EE / Enterprise Java solutions; Java frameworks, including Spring, Struts, and Hibernate; Oracle Database technologies and/or Web Application hosting on WebLogic. Experience with Agile toolsets, such as JIRA and Confluence. Experience with Agile project management methodologies, including Scrum. Ability to communicate effectively with other team members. Must be a team player, self-motivated, self-starter and a quick learner. Ability to complete tasks and projects within deadlines. Good written and verbal communication skills coupled with strong listening skills. Good problem solving, analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Atlassian toolset, including Jira, Confluence, and Bamboo. Prior experience with CBP. Certified ScrumMaster and/or Certified Product Owner desired with Scrum and or Scaled Agile Framework for the enterprise (SAFe) experience.

Responsibilities: Provide technical support for computers. Install, troubleshoot, service, and repair personal computers and related PC software. Connect personal computers to existing networks. Refresh and decommission devices. Candidate must be able to work with limited supervision and with no instructions needed for routine tasks. General instructions will only be given on new lines of work or special assignments. As a PC/Network Support Technician, the candidate’s primary job responsibilities will be to deliver Client Computing Services to Northrop Grumman customers.

Requirements: US Citizen. AA or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 3 years of related experience. Four (4) additional years of applicable work experience may be substituted for degree requirement. Must have CompTia A+ Certification. Must have 3 to 5 years of PC technical support experience supporting user populations. Proficiency in Microsoft products such as Windows 7, Windows 10, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio. Strong Familiarity with hardware components such as video cards, hard drives, network adapters and motherboards. This position requires the candidate possess exceptional customer focus and have an ability to perform in a high stress, fast-paced environment. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in remote administration and troubleshooting of desktop PCs. Experience in Active Directory configuring user and computer accounts. Experience supporting VMware VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure). Experience supporting Win10 and Bitlocker in a corporate environment. HP and Dell Warranty Support Certification.

Responsibilities: As a Technical Editor and Writer, you will be responsible to write, rewrite and/or edit technical documents such as technical procedure manuals, user manuals, programming manuals, service manuals, operational specifications, and related technical publications. You will develop material that communicates clearly and effectively the technical specifications and instructions to a wide range of audiences to include military personnel.

Requirements: Must have 6 Years relevant experience with Bachelors; 4 Years with Masters. Previous IETM authoring and development experience. Possess knowledge of S1000D, SGML or XML authoring software, common source databases, technical publications development processes, and Quality Assurance (QA) methods. Preferred Qualifications: Possess a familiarity with aircraft systems and the USAF Technical Order guidelines.
